101 Pimlico Road
101 Pimlico Road restaurant has a perfect London location on the invisible line where Belgravia joins Chelsea, a short and very pleasant stroll from Sloane Square. This casually elegant restaurant is intimate in scale, with neutral décor and artwork and plenty of space between tables, making it a fine choice for business or romance. 101 Pimlico Road has the local tastebuds sussed - Head Chef Keith Goddard uses the freshest of seasonal ingredients to create a modern British menu of deceptive simplicity with hints of Mediterranean flavours. For instance, local favourite rose veal burger arrives with a slice of foie gras and a quail's egg. Chips are sprinkled with truffle oil - worth the price of admission alone. The fabulous steaks from O'Shea's of Knightsbridge are hung for 44 days before Goddard sears them to perfection. The young, enthusiastic wait staff at 101 Pimlico Road makes every meal a pleasure.

In the summer months, the sunny garden courtyard is perfect for alfresco dinner dates. With Chef Brian Spark’s exquisite British menu and afternoon tea on offer, dining here is a real treat for your tastebuds. We love the assiette of suckling pig with crackling, celeriac, apples and grain mustard; the pea and crab mousse with marjoram, poached crayfish and bisque foam; and the roast buccleuch beef fillet, oxtail and bone marrow pie.

Adam Street
There's something rather fun about Adam Street, a private members club that spreads beneath The Strand. Maybe it's the fact that a solitary door leads to a surprising set of 18th cum 21st century vaults, or perhaps it's the friendly, successful, good-looking crowd that hang out here. Then again maybe it's because the vaults are literally the stuff of Dickens' novels. Whatever the reason, there's a lot to like about Adam Street - especially the restaurant. Set in a semi-circular vault, it's lined with sumptuous dark red banquettes and several mirrors, a must for the roving eye. The modern British club menu is probably best described as jazzed up public school comfort food, so think salmon fishcake with baby spinach and rhubarb crumble; simple but exclusive.
