With its name combining Japanese terms for ‘taking the food of life’ and ‘to fix’, Itadaki Zen aims for much more than the simple sating of appetites. In the peaceful surroundings of the pale coloured dining room, food is taken for its healing properties as well as its flavour. Recurring on the menu are products deemed important in maintaining a strong and healthy metabolism. With an organically produced selection of wines, beers and sake though, Itadaki Zen isn’t too angelic.
