Odette's Restaurant & Bar
Among London’s original dining rooms, Odette’s is found amongst the towering Victorian terraces and charming boutiques of the city’s infamous Primrose Hill. Opened back in 1978, Odette’s is now in the capable hands of Welsh chef Bryn Williams who has worked alongside some of the country’s most prestigious kitchens including The Criterion, Galvin at Windows and Le Gavroche. William’s trademark chic-rustic tasting and a la carte menus feature thrilling combinations of British ingredients including a wonderful vegetarian option that ensures Odette’s veggie visitors enjoy an experience equal to carnivorous diners. The dining room offers a delightfully retro feel while the cosy bar is both beautiful and relaxed. However, it’s Odette’s glorious garden that really charms when the sun comes out.

Perfect for posh pre-theatre bites, business breakfasts and afternoon tea this renowned restaurant chain dates back to 1909 when it opened as a prestigious patisserie and confectioner in the capital. Needless to say, the puddings and cakes here are to die for, and the St John's Wood branch of Richoux – located on Circus Road – is a hop and a skip away from Lord's cricket ground and a short stroll from Abbey Road and the London Zoo. The Holly Bush
One of Hampstead’s favourite pub-restaurants, The Holly Bush is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac away from prying eyes. Once the stables belonging to the home of painter George Romney, The Holly Bush was converted in to a tavern in the early 1800s and much of the original character remains to this day. It’s the original panelled walls, high backed booths and imposing curved bar which gives The Holly Bush such character and comfort while the juxtaposition of the rather more glam dining room with its chandeliers, eau de nil upholstered mid-century style furnishings and luxuriously patterned wallpaper gives the pub a wider appeal. Classic but sophisticated British favourites and comfort food make up a menu which perfectly complements the setting.

With its proximity to Queen’s Park and Maida Vale, the Kilburn High Road has become a hip London dining destination. Step inside the North London Tavern and you’ll discover the bedrock of Kilburn’s local creative community, a neighbourhood local with live jazz, film nights and poetry events. We love the relaxed atmosphere at the North London Tavern, and the décor is a chic mix of chandeliers, old leather Chesterfield sofas and an old wood-panelled bar. The modern British menu is a hit, and highlights include the courgette fritters with olive salsa; the poached smoked haddock served with a purple sprouting broccoli soufflé and spinach; and the braised shin of beef in red wine with mash and parsley and pepper dumplings.
