Eagle Bar Diner
The Eagle bar diner located just inches away from Oxford Street is a fantastic place for burgers, classic and obscure drinks, and great vibe. The decor is somewhat diner-esque, but bent through a sleek modern prism. The staff are celebrated for their friendliness. Open from breakfast onward, Eagle Bar Diner is renowned for its burgers, both standard with extras like red salsa or fried egg, and also specialty burgers including Greek, Arkansan, Mexican, and Italian, and there are hot dogs, steaks, and other comfort fare on offer. The milkshakes are to die for, both virgin and boozy, and we dare you to try to peanut butter martini.

Rainforest Café
A family favourite the world over, The Rainforest Café is an exciting restaurant with a faithful fan base. Recreating the Amazon forest in all its colourful glory, complete with oversized ferns, animatronics (elephants, monkeys, crocodiles oh my!) and even regular, though thankfully rain-free, ‘storms’, The Rainforest Café is a feast for young eyes. Diner style dishes are offered, with a wide range of children’s options which will eventually tempt them away from the lifelike creatures of the jungle and the spectacular waterfalls hidden amongst the greenery – if only for a few minutes. A major sponsor of the World Land Trust with its own Ecudorian slice of rainforest to protect, The Rainforest Café is as ethical as it is appealing.

Sticky Fingers
Rolling Stone Bill Wyman is the man behind Sticky Fingers, and wouldn’t you know it. From the huge Jagger lips logo in the window to the old school rock and roll styling of the interior – platinum records, tour posters and guitars hanging on the walls, diner-esque styling – it’s no real surprise that this place a mecca for Stones fans. But with its family friendly atmosphere and a menu of old American standards, not to mention close proximity to the London action, you’ll find kids tourists and burger demons alongside the Honky Tonk Women and Jumpin’ Jack Flashes. Pure Satisfaction.
