Haandi
Haandi is named after the narrow-necked cooking pots that lock in the memorable flavours of this Northern Indian cuisine. Some dishes are served in mini haandis, but the main thing is not how the food comes but how good it is. Decorated in elegant neutral golds and creams you can enter from Brompton Rd where the private dining area is or at the rear, Cheval place where you’ll find the bar - The glass fronted kitchen adds drama, allowing you to watch the chefs create their own brand of magic. Popular dishes include the heera panna, sauteed calamari and monkfish, giant prawns grilled in the Tandoor. Haandi produces truly authentic Indian food aimed at a clientele that knows its raitas from its rotis.

Khan's of Kensington
Khan's of Kensington restaurant in London’s South Kensington just a few steps from the tube station has developed a core of devotees over the years, from household names to lesser mortals, who delight in its slightly modern take on North Indian cuisine. The colonial ambience is very relaxed, pleasant, and its bijou dining room has an intimate feel. This is a great choice for pre-Albert Hall or taking the family after a visit to one of the big museums over the road. Some Khan’s of Kensington favourites - among many - are the fish coliwada, which is fried and marinated pomfret fish from Bombay, and the officer's chop of lamb in honey sauce. The tandoori’s and baltis are very popular, and if by chance you don't find your favourite on the menu, the kitchen is are happy to set that right, too. Shezan
Shezan the Indian restaurant, who opened its Knightsbridge doors 40 years ago. Shezan remains the only Indian restaurant in the UK to receive a star rating from Egon Ronay, The Gold Plate Award, and win Restaurant of the Year. Impressive, wouldn't you say? The chef certainly knows his stuff as he trained with the best chef from the region. It's physically arresting too. Diners descend into an ornate cocktail bar filled with an atmospheric array of native objects and trinkets. If you like live music with your meal, go on a Friday or Saturday. But whatever the day or night, you can bet your bottom rupee you'll find yourself in an unhurried atmosphere. Please note that the food at Shezan is freshly prepared to order. Ocassionally this can mean waiting times are longer.
