The uber-chic Shoreditch follow-up to the popular Notting Hill branch of Beach Blanket Babylon houses a restaurant, contemporary art gallery and opulent cocktail lounge. BBB occupies a cavernous converted warehouse on Bethnal Green Road and the décor combines all the glamour of a French country chateau with a little bit of boho chic. With high ceilings, open theatre kitchens and a large marble bar, the dining areas are divided into discreet raised levels and ample banquette seating. The seasonal British menus feature ingredients from trusted local sources and sumptuous dishes like herb-crusted rack of lamb and chateaubriand.
