The Salutation
The Salutation Inn is one of the very few Hammersmith pubs which appeals to all comers. Dating back to 1750, when the building was a coaching inn, The Salutation is certainly not a crusty old local but nor has it been stripped of all its charm and character in its most recent overhaul. Many original features remain in the comfortable, elegantly decorated rooms where real ales, beers and wines are enjoyed by a collection of young professionals, arty types, older clientele and couples, while out on the terrace The Salutation gives the riverside pubs a run for their money with a lovely sunny spot incredibly popular during the warmer months. The menu is excellent value with good old fashioned British pub favourites as well as tempting bar snacks offered throughout the day.
