Fontana Restaurant
A genuinely beautiful restaurant of hand-painted murals, exotic paintings, plants and elegant upholstered seating. Each area has its own character, from a large inviting Moroccan banquette, to an intimate velvet-draped ‘tent’. Cooking is traditional, so expect hot and cold mezze, chicken and lamb shawarma (a dish of sliced spot-roasted meat popular throughout the Middle East), as well as classic Moroccan dishes. If you really want to do the Lebanese thing, order the fried red mullet served with fried bread and a sesame sauce. Dish of the day might be courgette stuffed with minced lamb and rice.
