Our aim is to help you achieve optimum wellness of body, mind and spirit in a calm and uplifting environment. We offer meditation and Qi energy classes, Qi energy treatments and Family Healing to improve wellbeing based on an Eastern holistic approach.
What is Qi energy?
Qi energy is the life force that flows through all living things. However, our busy, modern lifestyles can drain this essential energy, creating blockages in the body.
How does Qi energy treatment work?
According to Eastern philosophy, low energy and energy blockages can increase vulnerability to disease and pain. Qi energy practitioners use acupressure to stimulate energy and blood flow, whilst using breathing techniques to create a sound vibration. This ancient, Eastern technique helps to release tension and stress, detoxifies the body and has a calming effect on the mind and emotions.
Why is sound used?
Stress and tension can lie deep inside the body. The 'ssshh' sound made by the practitioner is a vibration that penetrates much deeper than touch alone so that deeply held tension can be released, leaving you feeling calm and balanced.
Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the laws of nature and originates from a time when martial arts were taught for healing and self development. Our classes help you regain your original Qi energy.
A Qi energy class involves chanting, gentle movements, breathing exercises and meditation. Each class lasts one hour and you work through a series of steps designed to stimulate the circulation of energy throughout your body. The classes help you to manage your energy levels, release deep rooted emotional patterns and achieve greater balance in your life.
