Nurse

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered General Nurse to work in an exceptional care home service based in the Accrington, Lancashire area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This a purpose-built care home providing a friendly and companionable place to live. The support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• Required to undertake and manage direct resident care
• Having participated fully in the assessment
• Planning and evaluation of care needs
• To undertake the delivery of care including individual and group sessions to agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedures and health legislation
• Support and supervise care staff or new recruits
• Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care
• Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all resident care plans and communicate the outcomes to the clinical team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all CPA and risk assessment documentation is kept up to date

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• RGN Qualified & NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) Registered
• Previous older peoples care experience is desirable but not essential
• Caring & compassionate with an excellent clinical track record
• Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
• Excellent organisation & leadership skills
• Effective communication skills
• Flexible, professional and committed to being the best
• Quality driven with a desire to continually improve yourself & our services

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £16.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £31,200 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
