Dementia Lead
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Dementia Lead to work in an exceptional Care Home based in the Thames Ditton, Surrey area. As a Dementia Lead you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
Our client offers residential, nursing and dementia care for older people at our high quality care homes across the UK. The home boasts great facilities and a skilled and dedicated team committed to providing high quality care to all residents.
As a Dementia Lead your day to day duties include:
• Ensure your team enable the residents to lead a valued, fulfilling life and to maximize the potential capacity of all residents physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially
• Ensure adherence to the highest standards, develop new initiatives in care practices and overall delivery of a quality service
• You’ll look to continually innovate and improve, to provide residents with the quality of life they deserve
An ideal Dementia Lead must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• Have extensive knowledge of dementia and hands on experience working with residents living with dementia
• To be aware and have knowledge of person-centered care, CQC care practices and Quality Assurance processes
• Have a strong commitment to making the lives of those in your care better
• NMC Registered
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Dementia Lead will receive an excellent salary of £18.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £39,312 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 42 hours a week working on Days Shift only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with Clinical and Dementia experience
