Ward Manager
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the St John's Wood, London area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is a hospital for patients with continuing care needs
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a valid NMC Pin**
As a Ward Manager your responsibilities include:
Accepting 24 hour responsibility for the hospital wards on a rotational basis within the framework of the on call structure
Co-ordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment
Participating fully with the multi-disciplinary team and undertaking direct patient care
Managing and directing the delivery of clinical services within the ward or unit
Providing strong and robust leadership and management in the clinical environment
Monitoring the performance and conduct of staff and to take corrective action where required
Promoting and safeguarding the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors
Responsibility for working within the parameters of the service budget
Ensuring the confidentiality, security and accuracy of data and information and compliance with Regulatory guidelines
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Autistic Spectrum Disorder & Learning Disorder experience
Experience within a leadership/management capacity
Experience of working in a CAMHS setting
Relevant sufficient post registration experience
Relevant experience in a similar environment
Proven track record of leadership and management skills
The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
