Head of Strategy and Operations
We are currently recruiting a Head of Strategy and Operations within leading healthcare company that will involve national travel and remote working.
You will be covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex areas.
You will be required to provide operational and strategic direction for company, giving strong leadership and taking executive responsibility for designated strategic business areas. This will be a pivotal role and drive forward not only the service value base, but their strategic and business objectives. You’ll nurture key external relationships, ensure their staff’s feels valued, support their personal development, maintain a positive public profile and ensure individuals we support have the highest quality of service delivery.
The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £60,000 plus car allowance and bonuses.
You’ll play a key part in driving quality and providing commercially focussed direction under the delegated authority of the Senior Management Team, and you’ll ensure that the Company achieves its commercial and development goals. You’ll contribute to the national direction of company and work in partnership with the Senior Management Team, Heads of Development & Partnership, Referral Team and Central Support Services to ensure the company becomes the provider of choice across the UK.
What you’ll need
• You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and have exceptional experience and a proven track record within the sector
• You will hold a recognised qualification in social work, nursing or social care.
• You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, leadership qualities and the ability to lead and work as part of a team.
• You’ll have the ability to devise comprehensive reporting systems and analysis of information.
• You’ll have the ability to explain, develop and follow policies and protocols.
• You’ll have a flexible approach to workload, manage your own time and be actively involved in your own personal development.
We are seeking candidates who have 2 years’ experience at senior management level with experience of caring for people with learning disabilities within the social care environment. You will be creative and possess a person centered approach to working with people and have a clear understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding & equal opportunities (equality & diversity).
You’ll have an understanding of customer care, current care practices, government initiatives & regulatory requirements and be able to demonstrate an ability to translate theory into practice in a practical and person centered way.
To be considered for this role you must be Social Worker, Registered Manager or Registered Nurse with learning disability experience
