An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN, RMN or RNLD to work in an exceptional care centre service based in the South Norwood, London area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.

This special nursing home is a purpose-built nursing home and they provide 24-hour expert care specialising in palliative care, respite care and have their very own specialist dementia care unit.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• To provide high quality clinical/management leadership to care staff teams.
• To deliver care to residents in a professional caring manner.
• To be responsible for the provision and quality of nursing care.
• To support and share with other staff the delivery of personal care which meets the needs of the residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and empowerment.
• To motivate the team in all aspects of the Home Management, including taking charge in the absence of senior staff and being accountable and a good team player.
• To provide leadership and supervision and staff development/training of a team of healthcare assistants as directed.
• To share with other staff in meeting the personal, physical and psychological care needs of the residents in a way that respects the dignity and privacy of the individual and promotes independence.

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• Good Nursing Experience
• Excellent Clinical Skills
• Able to write Care Plans
• Able to show Empathy and warmth
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• Previous care home experience preferred
