Babur's stylish, earthy interior features exposed brick walls, natural wooden furniture and beautiful handmade Bengali artworks. Barcelona Tapas Bar y Restaurante
Barcelona Tapas Bar y Restaurant in London’s leafy Dulwich is a Spanish restaurant that offers the best of tapas sharing-and-dining as well as traditional Spanish cuisine. Barcelona has 'aficion' - that means passion and knowledge and, in bullfighting, what makes you get into the ring with an irritable herbivore. The restaurant’s inimitable sunny style, including tiling, vivid hues, and the trademark lizard, were inspired by a Gaudi mad masterpiece. Barcelona Tapas Bar y Restaurant has Conservatory areas that are extremely popular, but then so is the whole restaurant. As it's a short five minute walk from Dulwich village, it's full of professional types, but it's located in a residential area which brings in scads of happy families. Try typical Barcelona restaurant dishes like the Andalusian pork and bean stew with chorizo, Galician-style octopus, and Catalan grilled peppers, onions and aubergines. The Spanish wine list is a treat.
