Vintage SHARP GF 500E Stereo Boombox

Excellent vintage Sharp GF-500E ghetto blaster from the early 80s.

A top quality, huge and heavyweight boombox with classic old skool styling. Measures 65cm x 28cm x 15cm. Single long antenna and two way speaker set-up with 6 inch (15cm) woofers and tweeters. Plenty of chrome, iconic looks and features:

Double tape
4 band radio FM/SW/MW/LW
Bass, treble, record level, volume
Mix mic fader control
Twin built in mics,
Tape counter
Phono, line-in, line out, ext speakers, ext mic and phones sockets
Dolby
Metal / CRO2 / normal tape capability

This unit is being sold essentially for spares or repair - I will describe as accurately as possible:
Cosmetics: Overall good with a few dings and scratches here and there - nothing terrible. Couple of dings in the antenna but not bent.
Functionality: everything is working except tapes [something minor, i'm going to fix it]

Overall a classic 80s boomer than could be fully restored, used as a valuable donor for another or kept as a semi-functioning feature of your retro pad!

The unit comes supplied with a power lead but can be powered with 10 'd' cell batteries.

It will be packaged very carefully to reach you in the condition it leaves me.
