Jack the Ripper Tour and London Ghost Walk

Jack the Ripper Tour and London Ghost WalkSee the sinister and ghostly side of London as you follow the blood-soaked footsteps of murderer Jack the Ripper down gas-lit alleyways on a walking tour of London that will have you trembling with fear!

The year is 1888. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has just published his first Sherlock Holmes story...and in Whitechapel, in London's East End, five women are brutally murdered by the world's first recognized serial killer, Jack the Ripper.

You will see where Jack the Ripper found his victims while your guide runs through some of the suspects in this unsolved case that led Scotland Yard to Queen Victoria herself.

Led by a Professional Tour Guide, your tour will commence with a drive along the darkest sides of London. You will see the Theatre Drury Lane, said to be the most haunted theatre in London, your guide will explain why! The next site will be the Old Bailey - site of numerous public hangings, and Fleet Street, home of Sweeny Todd - the demon barber of Fleet Street - and his accomplice, Mrs Lovatt, who was said to have baked pies from the flesh of his victims, selling them to unsuspecting customers.

Once in Whitechapel, disembark the coach and walk this death trail inspecting some of the murder sites, deciphering the evidence and discussing the suspects. We will see the 10 Bells Pub, built in 1752 where many of Jack the Ripper's victims were said to have drunk.

The tour will finish at a traditional pub near Trafalgar Square.

Starting from £29.00 per person
